Tatooine: Tatooine is a desert world with two suns, situated in the outer rim. Due to it's location it has very little attention form galactic governement and has a strong criminal element.
Alderaan: Alderaan is a peaceful planet in the core. It has varying features including grasslands, mountain ranges, and oceans. The people are firm believers in preserving their habitat. They were a democratic society but headed by a hereditary monarchy.Education, philosophy and fine arts thrived here.
Hoth: Hoth is a world of ice and snow. Only a few species of animal live there and no native sentient species claim it as home. It's home of the highly dangerous Wampa ice creature.
Bespin: Bespin gaseous world is a major exporter of tibanna gas. Native species do live and thrive in the upper regions of the atmosphere and various 'cities' have been constructed. They thrive not only due to the export of tibanna gas but is also as a tourist attraction. The people who live there prefer their world avoid galactic politics.
Dagobah: Dagobah is humid, swampy planet has a rich variety of plant and animal life. There is no civilization here. But it's a biologists dream come true, but very dangerous to visitors. The trees for instance, begin life as knobby white spiders, which as part of their life cycle plant roots and become trees.
Mustafar: Mustafar highly volcanic planet in the Outer Rim. This world's only resource is mining of the minerals which come out of the lava flow.
Polis Massa: Polis Massa, destroyed in an unknown disaster is now an asteroid belt, with little known colony and outpost. archeological studies still discover the remains of civilization from the original planet. Polis Massa has an excellent med center.
Kashyyyk: Kashyyyk is a world of towering trees, where in most places the lower you go, the more dangerous it gets. There are also various archipelegos. The wookie civilization, for the most part, lives in the highest level of the treetops."
Kamino: Kamino is also known as "The Planet of Storms", is located in Wild Space. It's an entirely encompassed by an ocean. This world is occupied by a sentient species known as Kaminoans, who live in cities built above the ocean.
Naboo: Naboo, located in the mid rim has a varied ecosystem. There are underground oceans with labyrinths connecting them throughout the core. Two civilizations coexist, the Gungans, who live largely in bubble cities in the swamps and the Humans, who have a democratic society and live in cities and on the countryside in buildings with unique architecture.
Geonosis: Geonosis is a harsh rocky world. It's native civilization, the Geonosians, are insectoids and their cities resemble large termite mounds.
Coruscant: Coruscant is located in the core, and consists of one huge, planet covering city. It has for centuries been the center of galactic government. It's also the center of most hyperspace trade lanes.
Endor: Endor is known as a forest moon, though it does have some oceans, mountains and plains. It circles a gas giant. It has various sentient, but not technically advanced species, most notable the Ewoks. The ewoks mostly live in tree villages.
Yavin 4: Yavin system contains one gas giant and several moons, the most notable being the fourth. This jungled moon has housed a Sith Temple, Jedi Academy and a Rebel alliance base.
Utapau: Utapau's most notable feature is it's sinkholes. They are so numerous and deep that this is where the inhabitants live, rather than on the surface.
Dantooine: Dantooine has grasses, rivers and lakes. It has housed a Jedi enclave, Rebel base and numerous settlers.
Ansion: Ansion is a world of plains, fields and valleys, where the people are divided between the old ways (the tribes on the plains) and the newer ones (the cities). They have a complicated set of trade agreements with neighboring systems.
Kessel: Kessel is an oddly shaped planet, rather like a potato. It's main claim to fame is the spice mines, which have been used as a prison. Ironically, the Kessel Run is famed as a way for criminals to smuggle the spice out and make some fast credits.
Saleucami: Saleucami is arid but has oasis of plants and hot springs.
Mygeeto: Mygeeto has several terrain types and is locked in a perpetual ice age.
Felucia: Felucia is a fungus covered world with unusual plant and wildlife.
