Forest, Jungle and Plains
Many worlds offer a wide variety. Others just one. Some combine forest and plains. Others like Kashyyyk are predominantly forest, but even there, one can find archipelogos.
Forest
The Ewoks
These small, furry people have a comparatively primative society on the moon of Endor. Yet they are infamous for helping bring about the downfall of the Galactic Empire.
Under three feet tall, covered in fur, with three fingers and toes, they are people of the trees. Usually, they live high in the branches, in villages. They are at a spear level of technology. But they also are brave, clever in their own environment and determined. They worship the trees. So it is no wonder, perhaps, that they joined with the Rebel Alliance in their quest to destroy the Empire's shield generator. The Empire was not known for it's kind treatment of the natives or the environment.

Wookies
They come from the awesome forests of Kashyyyk. While primative in appearance and never having mastered speaking the Basic language, they are technologically advanced.
Tall, hairy and featuring claws, Wookies are known for their strength.
Wookies are known for great courage and ideals, as well as a fierce temper. To save a wookies life is to gain a companion for life, as in their culture this means they have a life debt. The wookie's great strength has often been exploited by slavers. It is rare then, for a wookie to be found working as a slaver or similar criminal element. It is considered a serious crime for a wookie to use their claws in combat, no matter how desperate the situation.

Plains
Lurmen
They come from Mygeeto and are also known as Mygeetans.
They are small mammals, furry which are bipedal but can ball into a wheel shape to achieve high speeds.
Extreme pacifists, many would rather die than fight to defend themselves. Even those who fought did their best to avoid killing or injuring their opponent.

Cereans
They live on Cerea, a world they preferred to keep untainted by technology. The people had a far higher female to male ratio, leading to polygamy as a matter of preserving their kind. The males also aged quicker.
Cereans have enlarged binary brains allowing for amazingly quick calculations and decision making.

Togruta
From the planet Shili, they bear head tails and montrals and are carnivorous humanoids. They have a means of echo location through the montrals.
The Togruta tend to prefer large groups and their coloring: reddish orange with striped head tails, blend them together as a group. They are masters at sensing space and make fine warriors. As a species, they tend to prefer going barefoot, seeking the extra connection to the land.
Jungles
Gamorreans
They come from Gamorr but are often found roaming the galaxy as enforcers. They love to fight.
Green, bulky and squat, the females tend to be the ones doing the work, the males do most of the fighting. Fighting is a way to impress the females.

Koruna
These humans receive a special mention due to their unusual origins. The Koruna of Haruun Kal were apparent descendants of crashed Jedi. The hostile world ate their ship.
Koruna tend to be dark skinned and all of them are force sensitive. They had a special relationship with the Aak dogs that they used to herd the Grasser herds through the hostile jungles.
Due to their force sensitivity, their world was bombed at the rise of the Empire. It is not known if any survived.
Rodian
They come from the jungles of Rodia, and usually only bounty hunters are allowed off world though some have found ways around this.
Usually sporting green pebbly skin, they have pointy ears, a tapering snout, big eyes and small, swiveling ears with suction cup hands. They tend to have spines which flex on their heads, although some did have hair. Their smell can be overwhelming to some species. They tend to be active
They live in clans and their war like tendancies hail from fighting off the native wildlife. They have been known to war among themselves as well.
