Other Regions
There are two other areas of space worth noting: Wild Space and the Unknown Regions. Both of these are largely unknown, with the only information the wild tales from scouts and hyperspace explorers. It is known that Ilum, a world of ice and snow, is in the Unknown regions. It's location is a closely guarded secret by jedi, due to the caches of crystals used in their lightsabers there.
Earth System
The moon of Saturn known as Mimas is made up largely of ice and just a little rock. It has a very special feature: close up photos
have revealed a definite resemblance to the Empire's Death Star Battlestation. These photos were not taken until after "A New Hope" premiered.
